5. Teddy's Bar
Information and Reviews
- We were glad we turned down this side street off Rue Mouffetard to find this eclectic bar. One bartender was running it & his welcoming demeanor made the experience that much better. We had 2 cosmopolitans & 4 craft beers (1 a delicious cherry Belgium beer) & it all came to 31euros thanks to happy hour. We hope to return as I forgot to tip that hard-working bar manager!
- Super cute ambience and interesting beer cocktails. Also the barman was kind and sweet at first. However, even though we made a huge consumption, he proceeded to charge us 3€ more out of nowhere... Of course we would let these 3€ for pourboire either way but it's a bit sneaky to charge tipsy clients without notice. Not cool.
- My absolute favourite bar in Paris thanks to the delightful barman Antoine. Nice choice of drinks, nice nibbles and a cosy atmosphere. Also, it’s slightly away from the main street so it’s not too touristy. If you’re traveling alone, pull up a stool to the counter and chat with Antoine. You’ll make friends in no time.
- Quaint, clean and simple settings are what you are in for if you decide to stop for a drink (or two) there. Snacking options are offered to complement your drinks. Decent selection of drafter beers. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Board and card games at your disposal.
If you're looking for a casual and cozy place to enjoy great cocktails and beer in Paris, Teddy's Bar is definitely worth a visit.
